First Nation Finance and Taxation workshop will be held in Edmonton: March 6 & 7

(ANNews) – An important and informative workshop will be held in Edmonton on March 6 and 7, 2018 focusing on First Nation finance and taxation. The workshop is being held at the Edmonton Inn and Conference Centre, hosted by Visionary Planning Development Management.

The workshop is aimed at First Nation leaders and entrepreneurs including finance officers, administrators, store managers, economic development officers, human resource officers, program directors and other business development officers.

Topics will include Indian Act exemptions, Canada Pension Plan, Management fees, Goods and Services Tax rebates, First Nations and Employment Insurance, community development and other matters relating to Canada Revenue Agency.

The First Nation Finance and Taxation Workshop will be presented by Dennis Cameron, BA,  Masters Project Management and Robert Weighell, B. Comm, CPA, CGA.
